About the Role
Planet Education Networks (PEN Group) is looking for a proactive Technical Support Coordinator with experience or a strong interest in supporting software platforms and projects.
This is not an infrastructure, Azure, or IT helpdesk role. The focus is on the day-to-day operation and support of software platforms — making sure users are receiving the right level of service, issues are handled properly, bugs are reported clearly, and recurring problems are identified and fed back into Product and Development.
You will work closely with the Technical Support team, helping coordinate activity, follow up on open issues, review SLA performance, and make sure support trends and platform problems are visible to the wider business. You will also be involved in projects before launch to understand the business concept, users, expected service, and how the platform should operate once live. After release, you will help monitor how well the platform and support function are performing and identify opportunities to improve both the product and the support experience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
