We are partnered with a long established British manufacturing business specialising in innovative products and engineered solutions. With a strong focus on customer service, product development and continuous improvement, the company combines engineering expertise with design and manufacturing capabilities. We have been retained to engage an experienced, proactive and customer focused Technical Support Engineer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your engineering career within a growing UK manufacturer committed to innovation and its people.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Supporting the development, testing and continuous improvement of new and existing products.
  • Contributing to research and development and new product development projects.
  • Producing and maintaining engineering drawings, drawing packs and bills of materials.
  • Working cross functionally with production, sales and other internal teams to ensure products are designed and manufactured effectively.
  • Providing technical support to customers.
  • Working directly with customers to understand their needs and recommend solutions.
  • Applying design for manufacture principles to optimise product quality, performance and manufacturability.
  • Preparing technical information, reports and supporting documentation.

You will ideally hold a minimum of a HND in engineering or a related discipline, with previous experience in a product or manufacturing environment. Experience in sheet metal fabrication, technical support, product development or Solid Edge would be advantageous, although technical aptitude, a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
