Technical Support Engineer - EDBS

Location: Norfolk & Ipswich

Contract Type: 3 month contract

Start Date: 1st September

Overview

We are seeking two experienced IT Engineers to provide onsite IT support covering all end user devices including Desktops, Laptops, Mobile Devices, Printers, Projectors & AV equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installing and configuring PCs, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Setting up interactive screens, projectors, and AV equipment.
  • Network patching and connectivity testing.
  • Ensuring classrooms are fully operational for staff and students.
  • Provide onsite IT support to teaching staff, administrative teams, and students.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
  • Support and maintain Windows devices, Microsoft 365 environments, printers, interactive panels, and classroom technology.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and device configurations.
  • Troubleshoot wired and wireless network infrastructure.
  • Carry out IT project work as required by the schools, including technology refreshes and infrastructure upgrades.
