Role Description
The Technical Support Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ampfield, Romsey. This position is responsible for providing front-line technical support for telecommunication services, devices, including diagnosing and resolving network, voice, and connectivity issues.

Day-to-day tasks include:
- Responding to customer inquiries
- Troubleshooting hardware and software problems
- Performing root cause analysis

The Technical Support Engineer will collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues, assist with configuration and deployment of business communication solutions, and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes. The role also involves educating customers on best practices, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.

Criteria
- Strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills.
- Proven Customer Support and Customer Service skills in a business environment.
- Experience with telecommunications, networking, or communication systems is beneficial.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to work on-site in Ampfield, manage multiple support tickets, and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, remote support tools, and basic network configurations (e.g., routers, switches) is a plus.
