- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Your Role
- Provide 2nd line engineering and controls expertise to support troubleshooting of building services plant, equipment, and control systems.
- Lead primarily on gas system related issues, providing advice and direction.
- Review and respond to BMS alarms, resolving issues remotely where possible and raising work tasks when required.
- Support maintenance engineers with advanced fault finding and develop team capability in BMS and controls systems.
- Provide technical information and guidance to maintenance teams to support effective service delivery.
- Identify improvements that reduce plant failures, customer calls, and operational risk.
- Provide regular reporting on alarm management and system performance.
- Escalate lifecycle replacement requirements through the risk escalation process with supporting technical justification.
- Review subcontractor quotations for BMS and control system works and undertake suitable technical tasks.

What We're Looking For
- Qualifications: BTEC Level 3, trade apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification in gas, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or relevant job-related experience.
- Experience: Strong knowledge of HVAC, heating and hot water systems, with the ability to interpret system schematic drawings. Experience supporting maintenance operations and troubleshooting complex building services systems is essential.
- Skills: Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a logical approach to fault finding. Strong communication skills, effective workload prioritization, and excellent Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge are required.
