Job Title: Technical Support Engineer - Solar Inverters & Battery Storage
Location: Liverpool, UK
Workplace Type: Hybrid
About the Role:
AFORE ENERGY UK LIMITED is looking for a Technical Support Engineer with experience in solar inverters, battery storage systems, or related renewable energy products.
The role will focus on product technical support, after-sales service, troubleshooting, and customer support. The successful candidate will also work closely with the sales team to support customer visits, product introductions, and technical discussions with installers, distributors, and commercial partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for solar inverters, hybrid inverters, and battery storage systems
- Handle after-sales enquiries, troubleshooting, and product maintenance support
- Support customers, installers, and partners with product setup, operation, and technical questions
- Work with the sales team during customer visits, product presentations, and technical meetings
- Assist with product training, documentation, and basic technical guidance
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve product or service issues
- Support UK customers both remotely and on site when required

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the inverter, battery storage, solar PV, or renewable energy industry
- Good understanding of solar inverter and battery storage system operation
- Experience in technical support, after-sales service, product maintenance, or field service
- Strong communication skills and ability to support both technical and commercial discussions
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and technical support when required
- UK driving license preferred
- Electrical background or relevant technical qualification preferred

Preferred Experience:
- Hybrid inverter and battery storage system experience
- Solar PV system knowledge
- Experience working with installers, distributors, or EPC customers
- Familiarity with UK renewable energy market requirements
Employment Terms:
- Full-time position
- 6-month probation period
- Hybrid working arrangement
- UK customer visits may be required
