Technical Support Engineer

Insurance Sector | Fully Remote (UK) | 4 Days Per Week | 6 Month Contract, Long Term | Outside IR35 | £200 to £225 per day

The Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established client in the insurance sector who are looking for a Technical Support Technician to join their team on an initial 6-month contract, with a clear intention for this to become a long-term role.

This is a varied position that blends first-line support, QA and testing, and client training. The right person will get involved across all three areas early on, and over time there is real scope to take ownership of the training function with a view to stepping into a Training Manager role.

What You Will Be Doing

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
