Technical Support Manager
PHS | Doncaster DN4 | Office-based | £40,000 - £45,000
Who we are
We’re one of the UK’s leading renewable energy installers. We design and fit air source heat pumps, solar PV, EV chargers and more, for everyone from homeowners cutting their energy bills to developers and energy companies rolling out low carbon projects at scale. Whatever the size of the job, our customers trust us to get it right.
About the role
This is where your site experience becomes your biggest asset. As our Technical Support Manager, you’ll be the technical brain behind every PHS install, designing the systems, solving the tricky problems and making sure our fitters turn up with exactly what they need.
No more battling the weather or hours on the road. You’ll have a role with real ownership, variety every day, and a team that comes to you because you know your stuff.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What your day looks like
- Design systems you’d be proud to fit. You’ll create heat pump and solar PV designs that work in the real world, not just on paper, because you know what it’s like at the other end.
- Be the one with the answers. When customers call with a technical issue, you’ll get to the root of it and set the fix in motion. There’s real satisfaction in turning a frustrated customer into a happy one.
- Get the kit right, every time. You’ll specify and order the parts for each job, using your experience to cut out waste and make sure nothing’s missing when the van arrives.
- Back up the team in the field. Our installers, sales team and customers will rely on your judgement. You’ll be the straight-talking expert everyone trusts.
- Make every install better than the last. You’ll spot patterns, fix them at the source and help shape how we design and deliver work as we grow.
