🚨 We’re hiring: Technical Support Engineer – Data & Connectivity

Are you an experienced Network / Technical Support Engineer with strong Extreme Networks, Cisco and switching experience?

If so, this could be one for you.

We’re looking for a Technical Support Engineer – Data & Connectivity to join Maintel in a predominantly remote role, taking ownership of complex technical issues, critical escalations and service restoration across our customer environments.

This is a role for someone with a solid networking background who is comfortable getting stuck into complex incidents, taking the lead when an investigation stalls and driving issues through to resolution.

đź”§ For this role, you MUST have:

  • Hands-on experience with Extreme Networks technologies
  • Strong switching knowledge and experience
  • Experience working with Cisco networking technologies
  • Solid networking fundamentals and the technical knowledge expected at engineer level
  • Extreme Networks certification in at least one of the following areas: Fabric, Site Engine, Control or Cloud 10

đź’» What will you be doing?

You’ll take ownership of complex and business-critical incidents, acting as a technical escalation point and working collaboratively across Maintel to restore services and deliver an excellent customer experience.

You’ll also:

  • Lead technical investigations and service restoration
  • Manage critical escalations and Major Incidents
  • Coordinate technical resources and drive issues through to resolution
  • Carry out root cause analysis and help prevent recurring issues
  • Work closely with Engineering, Delivery and Product teams
  • Support the transition of new products and services into operational support
  • Share technical knowledge and best practice across the wider team
