🚨 We’re hiring: Technical Support Engineer – Data & Connectivity
Are you an experienced Network / Technical Support Engineer with strong Extreme Networks, Cisco and switching experience?
If so, this could be one for you.
We’re looking for a Technical Support Engineer – Data & Connectivity to join Maintel in a predominantly remote role, taking ownership of complex technical issues, critical escalations and service restoration across our customer environments.
This is a role for someone with a solid networking background who is comfortable getting stuck into complex incidents, taking the lead when an investigation stalls and driving issues through to resolution.
🔧 For this role, you MUST have:
- Hands-on experience with Extreme Networks technologies
- Strong switching knowledge and experience
- Experience working with Cisco networking technologies
- Solid networking fundamentals and the technical knowledge expected at engineer level
- Extreme Networks certification in at least one of the following areas: Fabric, Site Engine, Control or Cloud 10

đź’» What will you be doing?
You’ll take ownership of complex and business-critical incidents, acting as a technical escalation point and working collaboratively across Maintel to restore services and deliver an excellent customer experience.
You’ll also:
- Lead technical investigations and service restoration
- Manage critical escalations and Major Incidents
- Coordinate technical resources and drive issues through to resolution
- Carry out root cause analysis and help prevent recurring issues
- Work closely with Engineering, Delivery and Product teams
- Support the transition of new products and services into operational support
- Share technical knowledge and best practice across the wider team

🏡 Location: Remote, with very occasional travel required.
