About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Hackney Building Control for a Technical Support Officer to join our dynamic team. The post offers a fantastic chance to gain experience in the building control sector.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Technical Support Officer and the Senior Building Control Levy Monitoring Officer to validate all types of building regulations applications and notices, support Registered Building Inspectors/Surveyors, deliver a high-quality service to clients, and ensure the council’s statutory functions are discharged.
Requirements
The prospective candidate must have experience working in a busy office and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. In addition, you will collaborate with key stakeholders and local authority teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Salary
The 2026/2027 Salary for this post is £38,748 to £39,915.
