Technical Support Officer – Environmental Health

Permanent Contract

£25,989 - £29,540 per annum - Plus pending pay award -

(dependant On Appropriate Skills, Qualifications And Experience)

37 hours per week

This is a full-time position; however, we welcome applications from those who wish to work part-time or job share.


We are looking for a Technical Support Officer to work in the Environmental Health Team.

You will be working in our Council Offices within a wider team of Environmental Health Officers, Community Environment Wardens, and Technical Support roles. You will be dealing with members of the public, businesses and colleagues from across the Council. The role is varied, dealing with nuisance complaints from noise to bonfires, animal welfare licences, Environmental permits as well as supporting our team across the wider Environmental Health department.

By working in this team, you will gain knowledge on how to effectively support the delivery of our services and help to develop our digital platforms.
