Company Description
Fox Electrical Supplies Limited is a trusted electrical wholesaler with branches in Lincoln, Sleaford, and Scunthorpe, serving the Greater Lincoln area and wider region. The company supplies a broad range of electrical products, including cable, lighting, distribution equipment, switchgear, and installation essentials for trade professionals.
The Role
The technical manager will be responsible for providing electrical technical knowledge and support to the company sales team throughout our three branches. The role will also include a move towards expanding our range of industry renewable and HVAC products, as well as design of lighting, heating and ventilation enquiries. The applicant should have some experience and technical knowledge of EV charging, Air source heat pumps, Air conditioning units & industrial controls. Some experience of renewables such as Solar and energy saving products is also needed.

Project Coordination
- Work closely with existing and new suppliers to provide advice on varied electrical solutions including but not restricted to motor control products, transformers, drives as well as new industry products.
- A knowledge of technical drawings and relevant symbols is also needed.
Objectives
- Improve and expand our technical advice and support to customers.
- Increase overall sales and profitability by improving our industrial product and renewable range whilst also expanding into new markets and products.
What You Bring
- You will have excellent Microsoft Office skills including Outlook and Word.
- Excellent communication skills: Ability to build rapport and listen actively to customers and colleagues.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- High-level commercial acumen and experience dealing within the electrical industry.
- Deep knowledge of electrical projects and supply chain logistics.

- Communicate with fire, lighting and ventilation suppliers, arranging designs and quotes.
- Support the business with day to day enquiries.
- FULL DRIVING LICENSE REQUIRED
Benefits
We offer a competitive benefits package, including profit-related bonus scheme, long service awards, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and an additional days leave to celebrate your birthday.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday - 7:30am - 4:45pm.
- Friday - 7:30am - 4:00pm
- £40,000 - £45,000 a year
