Our One Aftersales team are recruiting for an Automotive Technical Support Specialist on a permanent full time basis.

Reporting into the Technical Support Team Manager, this position will be based in Milton Keynes with the option to work from home up to 2 days a week.

What you could be doing:

  • Essentially providing our Group network (all 6 brands) with high quality technical support/resolutions via group approved contact systems and software (DISS/ODIS), remote diagnosis or dealer on site visits, all as a result of a technical enquiry.
  • Taking ownership of information and guidance provided with a customer centric approach whilst meeting group global targets for quality and response.
  • Proactively drive case resolution by either remote support or hands-on repair guidance/coaching collaborating with the Customer Service Centre, Technical Service Centre, brands, factories and National Learning Centre to ensure customer satisfaction / resolution.
  • You’ll identify and influence process improvement to ensure our Dealers are suitably supported on determining the best options for our customers and ensuring the most efficient solution is driven through proactive measures and technology.

Skills & experience you can bring to the role:

  • Ideally a High Voltage Expert or a minimum requirement of Master Technician with High Voltage Technician qualification.
  • Proven success in diagnosis on a range of vehicle systems with wide experience in all aspects of vehicle repairs.
  • Excellent computer/analytical skills to troubleshoot issues.
  • Strong communication skills to relay information effectively at all levels.
  • Highly motivated self-starter able to work on own initiative with a desire to resolve a variety of technical issues at one time, providing world class customer satisfaction.
  • Focus on prevention as well as cure and able to work independently as well as within a collaborative team structure.
  • Full UK driving licence.
