Field Based Master Technician - Technical Support Specialist
Location: London - Chiswick Park (Office Based)
MONDAY TO FRIDAY ONLY
Salary: Up to £60k basic + 15% bonus

We are recruiting a Technical Support Specialist on behalf of a fast-growing international automotive manufacturer in the UK.
This role is ideal for an experienced automotive technical professional who enjoys problem-solving, dealer support, and working with new vehicle technologies in a growing brand environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve complex technical cases via the manufacturer’s technical support system
- Provide on-site technical assistance to the UK dealer network
- Prioritise and manage multiple open cases simultaneously
- Escalate unresolved issues to engineering teams and drive timely resolutions
- Support Quality, Customer Experience, and Warranty teams on technical matters
- Review technical documentation from HQ and ensure UK market applicability
- Create and deliver technical training, presentations, and dealer seminars
- Develop and update technical bulletins, troubleshooting guides, and training materials

About You
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive technical support or diagnostics
- Technical or engineering qualification (Master Technician or equivalent experience considered)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostics capability
- Confident using diagnostic tools and engineering logging systems
- Experience with hybrid and EV systems highly desirable
- Able to interpret electrical diagrams and engineering drawings
- Customer-focused, organised, and able to influence at all levels
- Willing to travel UK-wide, including overnight stays
- Full UK driving licence
