Technical Support Specialist
About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our team, providing expert technical support across the Toshiba HVAC product portfolio. In this role, you will be the key technical contact for customers, supporting product enquiries, investigating quality issues, delivering technical training, and working closely with internal teams and manufacturing facilities to ensure the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HVAC professional who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating with customers, and driving continuous product improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical support and recommendations across the Toshiba HVAC product range, including Residential, Light Commercial, and VRF systems.
- Manage customer technical enquiries and support tickets, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Investigate product quality concerns, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate corrective actions with internal engineering teams and manufacturing facilities.
- Conduct site visits to diagnose technical issues, perform product testing, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Communicate investigation outcomes and technical updates to customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
- Escalate complex technical issues where appropriate and monitor progress through to resolution.
- Deliver technical training and product support to customers, installers, distributors, and service partners across Europe.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing technical feedback from the field to engineering and product management teams.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, reports, and customer records.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with company policies, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within the HVAC industry in a technical support, service, commissioning, or engineering role.
- Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems, including:
- VRF / VRV Systems
- Light Commercial HVAC
- Residential Air Conditioning
- F-Gas Certification.
- Experience investigating technical issues and supporting product quality improvements.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Collaborative team player with strong relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits, technical support, and training delivery when required.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on delivering outstanding customer support.

Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between £42,000.00-£84,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
