About the Role
Due to our ongoing success, we are now looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Technical Surveyor to shape and deliver our national strategy within the Builder Merchant sector, driving sales, distribution, and market share for two established premium brands.
Base and Geographical Area
- The role is field-based, and you will be expected to attend any of the Gradus and Gerflor facilities when required.
- A flexible approach is required, which will mean working outside of normal "office hours" to accommodate site and customer needs. Occasional overnight stays may be required.
The Role
As a part of the Technical Support Team, your main role will be as a Surveyor within the Gradus and Gerflor group. You will be part of a team tasked with ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer and business requests for surveying of projects for stairs nosing, barrier meetings, and other Gradus accessory products. The skills obtained will enable opportunities to progress into a wider technical support role within Gradus Gerflor.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys and measurements for nosing and matting installations.
- Investigate and assess customer complaints relating to Gradus and Gerflor products.
- Carry out site repairs for warranty-related issues.
- Prepare accurate survey reports and templates to support customer orders and production.
- Produce clear, concise reports on site visits and complaint investigations.
- Support the Technical Manager and wider team with ongoing projects.
- Liaise with Technical Support, Area Sales Managers (ASMs), and Regional Managers to ensure customer requirements are met.
