Technical Field Trainer – Coffee Machine Manufacturer

Salary - £36k, plus bonus, company van and attractive pension contribution
Location: Uxbridge – candidates must live within a one-hour commute

We are seeking a confident Technical Field Trainer with a strong engineering background and proven experience delivering training in classroom and workshop environments.

You will design and maintain technical induction and development programmes, deliver engaging practical training, and ensure engineers and service partners receive consistent, high-quality instruction.

  • Write and maintain technical inductions and training programmes.
  • Deliver classroom and hands-on workshop training.
  • Train coffee engineers on coffee equipment operation, maintenance, diagnostics, and modifications.
  • Work with Service Managers and Senior Engineers to identify training needs.
  • Assess learner progress and maintain accurate training records.
  • Train external service partners and distributors.
  • Continually evaluate and improve training content and delivery.

About You

  • Strong practical engineering or field-service background.
  • Proven technical training experience, ideally in coffee machines or capital equipment and white goods, but not essential.
  • Experience writing induction and development programmes.
  • Confident delivering training to groups in classroom and workshop settings.
  • Strong presence and the ability to engage experienced engineers.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organised, calm, and credible, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Based within one hour of Uxbridge.
  • A training or assessor qualification and experience supporting field-service teams would be advantageous.
