Technical Trainer

Salary: 40-50K + ECOS Scheme + Life Insurance + Free Lunches

Location: Birmingham

Work Style: Office-based with occasional UK travel

Visa Sponsorship: Not Provided

This is a thrilling long-term opportunity for an experienced automotive trainer to join a growing OEM and play a key role in developing the technical capabilities of its dealer network as it continues to grow in today’s competitive climate. My client is looking for a Technical Trainer to deliver engaging training programmes that support both the business and its franchised retailers, helping ensure technicians remain up to date with the latest products, systems and diagnostic procedures.

This role is best suited to someone who enjoys hands-on teaching, presenting to audiences and helping others develop their skills. You'll work closely with multiple departments across the business while supporting everything from classroom-based technical training and dealer development through to new product training and digital learning content. For someone looking to represent a major automotive brand and have a direct impact on dealer performance, this is an excellent opportunity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
