Impact Centre For Training Limited is a professional training company specializing in IPC training for the electronics industry. As the only IPC training provider in Wales, Impact delivers IPC A-610, WHMA-A-620, J-STD001, and IPC 7711/21 at both CIS and CIT levels. With over 30 years of industry experience, the company offers a friendly, confident, and highly knowledgeable approach to technical training needs. Impact employs three master instructor trainers and can accommodate a wide range of disciplines, often at short notice. The organization is known for its responsive service and positive feedback from clients.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Technical Training Consultant role based in Ystrad Mynach. The Technical Training Consultant will deliver IPC and related technical courses to learners, ensuring training content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with industry standards. Daily responsibilities include:

The role involves collaborating with colleagues to update curricula, tailoring training to client needs, and maintaining training records and certification documentation. The consultant will also support continuous improvement of training programs by gathering participant input and applying industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong Technical Training and Training skills, with experience delivering structured courses in an electronics or IPC environment.
- Demonstrated Training & Development and Curriculum Development abilities to design, refine, and implement effective learning programs.
- Solid Analytical Skills to assess learner performance, interpret feedback, and improve training content and delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of IPC standards (e.g., IPC A-610, WHMA-A-620, J-STD001, IPC 7711/21) and practical electronics manufacturing processes.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts in an accessible manner.
- Relevant technical or engineering qualification, or equivalent industry experience; IPC instructor certifications (CIT/MIT) are highly advantageous.
- Ability to work independently on-site, manage multiple training commitments, and meet deadlines with a professional, learner-focused approach.
