Technical Training Specialist

South West England | Automotive Sector

A rapidly expanding international automotive manufacturer is seeking an experienced Technical Training Specialist to support the continued growth of its UK retailer network and aftersales operation.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a business investing heavily in people, innovation, electrification, and dealer development. You'll play a key role in enhancing technical capability across the network, designing and delivering engaging training programmes, and supporting the rollout of new products and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deliver technical training programmes
  • Deliver classroom-based and virtual learning sessions
  • Create engaging technical and product training content
  • Support retailer network performance through effective learning solutions
  • Identify training gaps and provide tailored development plans
  • Work closely with aftersales and technical support teams
  • Support the development and implementation of learning management systems
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and learning excellence
  • Help prepare the network for future vehicle technologies, including EV and hybrid platforms

Skills & Experience

  • Previous automotive technical training experience
  • OEM, manufacturer, importer or dealership group background
  • Strong understanding of vehicle technology and diagnostics
  • Hybrid and EV technical qualifications preferred
  • Experience creating training plans and learning content
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Flexible approach to UK travel when required

  • £45,000 - £55,000 basic salary
