Technical Writers, Editors & Content Quality Specialists. Remote AI Evaluation Project
We are seeking experienced Technical Writers, Technical Editors, Documentation Specialists, Content Editors, Copy Editors, and Content Quality Professionals to evaluate advanced AI-generated writing.
You will compare model-generated responses, assess subtle differences in clarity, tone, coherence, usefulness, and instruction-following, then provide structured scores and detailed written rationales.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate multiple AI-generated responses to writing prompts
- Compare responses for clarity, tone, coherence, usefulness, and accuracy
- Assess whether content follows the original instructions
- Identify subtle differences in writing quality
- Assign analytical quality scores using project-provided guidelines
- Write clear and well-reasoned rationales for evaluation decisions
- Identify vague, confusing, repetitive, or poorly structured writing
- Evaluate technical and instructional content for readability
- Assess whether explanations are appropriate for the intended audience
- Identify opportunities to improve organization, precision, and instructional value
- Review grammar, syntax, terminology, and style
- Evaluate whether technical concepts are communicated accurately and efficiently
- Apply evaluation rubrics consistently across large volumes of content
- Document findings carefully using digital review platforms
- Collaborate asynchronously with reviewers and project leads
- Incorporate feedback and maintain consistent evaluation standards
- Deliver high-quality work within project timelines

Requirements
- Exceptional written communication skills
- Professional experience in technical writing, editing, documentation, content evaluation, or a closely related field
- Strong ability to evaluate clarity, tone, coherence, and usefulness
- Excellent command of grammar, syntax, and written style
- Ability to identify subtle quality differences between similar responses
- Strong critical-thinking skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable following structured evaluation rubrics
- Ability to provide detailed but concise rationales
- Comfortable using digital review and annotation tools
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong deadline and workload management skills
Preferred Background
- Several years of professional technical writing or editing experience
- Experience working at a technology or software company
- Experience writing or reviewing technical documentation
- Experience with developer or API documentation
- Experience creating instructional content
- Experience working with formal style guides
- Experience editing work produced by other writers
- Experience conducting content QA
- Experience reviewing large volumes of written content
- Experience creating documentation standards or editorial guidelines
- Experience mentoring or reviewing junior writers
