Working Instructions Writer – Finance / S/4HANA
We are looking for an experienced Working Instructions Writer to join a major global S/4HANA transformation programme within the pharmaceutical industry.
The role will focus on developing clear, comprehensive and user-friendly Working Instructions for Finance business processes, providing end users with accurate step-by-step guidance to successfully carry out activities within an S/4HANA environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop clear, detailed step-by-step Working Instructions for end users
- Work closely with Finance SMEs, process owners and technical specialists to gather and validate content
- Document S/4HANA business processes accurately and consistently
- Review and update documentation following process changes and stakeholder feedback
- Follow defined templates and formatting standards to ensure consistency
- Deliver documentation in line with project plans and tight deadlines
- Support quality, compliance and audit-readiness requirements

Essential Experience
- Strong previous experience writing Working Instructions, SOPs, process documentation or end-user guides
- Demonstrable experience writing Working Instructions for S/4HANA business processes
- Strong Finance process knowledge, ideally including Planning & Budgeting, O2DC and/or PM&M
- Good S/4HANA knowledge, ideally gained within a large-scale implementation or transformation programme
- Experience working closely with SMEs and process owners
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within strict documentation templates
- Ability to deliver high-quality documentation against tight project deadlines

- SAP Enable Now knowledge/experience
Location
Luton / Remote – ad hoc site attendance if required
Duration
6 months + possible extension
Rate
£450 per day IR35
