About the Role
This Technical Writer is an onsite opportunity based in Petersfield. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 4:30pm. The role is paying a competitive salary depending on experience. This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC).
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality technical documentation that supports safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing operations.
- Author and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WKIs), deviation investigations, root cause analyses, and CAPA documentation.
- Ensure all records meet GMP, GDP, and site quality standards.
- Work closely with Compounding, Quality Assurance, and Technical Support teams.
- Translate complex manufacturing processes into clear, inspection-ready documentation.
- Support change management, maintain document control, and identify opportunities to improve existing documentation.
- Help ensure the site remains audit and inspection ready.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar documentation role within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment or a scientific background with strong technical report writing experience.
- Experience writing SOPs, Work Instructions, investigations, or other controlled technical documentation.
- A good understanding of GMP, GDP, and quality management principles.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical information.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on quality and compliance.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
- Knowledge of deviation, CAPA, or document management systems would be beneficial.
