A detail-orientated Test Technician with proven experience of working within a High-Tech Electronics / Mechanical Manufacturing environment and who brings good assembly, soldering, and wiring experience will join the production team of an award-winning Technology Company. Experience with optical-related products is highly beneficial. Generous salary on offer.
The Test Technician role will focus on the electro/opto-mechanical assembly and test of a variety of mission-critical imaging and security systems covering the manufacture and testing of mechanical, optical, and electronic assemblies, component-level fault-finding, and documentation.

Responsibilities:
- Electro/opto-mechanical assembly and test of mission-critical imaging and security systems.
- Manufacture and testing of mechanical, optical, and electronic assemblies.
- Component-level fault-finding and documentation.
Requirements:
- An Engineering qualification or equivalent relevant industrial experience.
- Proficiency in electro-mechanical assembly techniques including soldering, wiring, and cable/harness assembly.
- Some PCB repair skills.
- Good fault-finding and debugging skills.
- An understanding of clean room techniques.
- The ability to read schematics.
- A basic understanding of mechanical design software and appreciation of electronic principles.
