About the Role
As the Technician, you will be a motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent organisational skills and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
You will have:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Adeptness at managing workloads to meet deadlines effectively
- A preference for a degree or HND in Science or Engineering, or equivalent laboratory experience
- Advantage from prior laboratory experience, particularly in a metallurgy environment
Most importantly, you will bring:
- A proactive approach
- A willingness to learn
- A strong focus on quality and safety
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Degree or HND in science/engineering (preferred)
- Experience working in a laboratory environment, ideally metallurgy-related

About the Opportunity
This is an exciting six-month temporary role supporting the metallurgical team in manufacturing quality control and supplier approval activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect items/samples for testing and record them in the relevant booking system
- Prepare samples and conduct assessments against client specifications
- Manage workloads to meet KPI turnaround time targets
- Maintain equipment to the highest standards
