Compensation: £24,795 per annum, i.e £26,123 pro rata per annum
Description
To facilitate the learning process by supporting staff and students in an effective learning environment
Key Responsibilities
- To provide direct support to teaching staff by maintaining outstanding working environment within the training rooms
- To work with and ensure that staff and students have access to training rooms, products and equipment as required
- To prepare and assist in the set-up of learning activities ensuring all materials and equipment are prepared in readiness for practical sessions and retrieved after the activity has ceased
- Maintain and clean specialist equipment and be responsible for the security of equipment
- To report malfunctions of electrical and capital equipment and ensure repairs are completed
- Be responsible for ordering, monitoring requisitions, storekeeping and stock control for the HAB department
- To assist with the supervision of students in the training rooms, laundry facilities, storage rooms, portfolio room or salon
- To be responsible for the cleaning of specialist areas and equipment
- To perform domestic duties including laundry and supervise students in ancillary duties
- To oversee safe and hygienic working practices for staff and students
- To support in the organisation of student kits, equipment and uniforms, purchases and supplies
- Support off site provision when required, including promotional and marketing events
- Ensure continuous development and improvement of professional knowledge
- Any other duties, of a similar level of responsibility, as may be required

Qualifications
Essential Criteria
- Level 2 and level 3 hair qualification
How Identified: Application
Desirable Criteria
- Level 2/ Level 3 Barbering qualification
- Safety in a work place (or willingness to work towards)

Experience

- Minimum of 3 years in a related industry
