Highway Technician
Are you looking to develop your career in highway engineering while working on projects that improve travel, safety and connectivity across Blackburn with Darwen?
We're seeking a Highway Technician to join our Highways Projects Team, supporting the design and delivery of highway improvement schemes from initial investigation and design through to construction.
You'll work alongside experienced engineers on a variety of projects, helping to produce AutoCAD drawings, coordinate site investigations, review technical information and support the delivery of schemes that make a real difference to local communities.

What we're looking for:
- Experience in highways or a related technical field
- AutoCAD knowledge and technical drawing skills
- Understanding of highway design standards and construction methods
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM principles
- A commitment to learning and professional development
