Highway Records and Address Management Team

The work of the team is wide-ranging from dealing with simple highway status enquiries and the day-to-day maintenance of the Local Land and Property Gazetteer, to more complicated tasks, such as allocating property addresses and assisting with the permanent closure of highways and public rights of way. This role will suit an individual who has an investigative mind, thrives on accuracy and diligence and copes well under pressure, whilst maintaining high standards.

You will need the aptitude to become proficient in the use of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and be great at working collaboratively across a wide range of internal and external customers and contacts, within demanding timescales.

You will need excellent customer service skills to be able to deal sympathetically, patiently, diplomatically, efficiently, and effectively with the enquiries received by the team. Although knowledge and experience of work in Highway Records/Address Management (or a closely related field) would be helpful, the necessary training and instruction will be provided.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
