Technician (Leisure Centres) - Permanent, Full Time (40 hrs p/w)
Location:
- Tunbridge Wells Leisure Centre, TN4 9TX
- The Weald (Cranbrook), TN17 2PN
- Putlands (Paddock Wood), TN12 6NZ
Salary: £27,664 per annum + excellent benefits

From maintaining plant to ensuring energy efficiency, your responsibilities will drive operational excellence while fostering a positive community impact.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be entrusted to:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing, and reactive repairs across building services systems and plant
- Support the safe operation and maintenance of swimming pool water systems, including water quality monitoring
- Respond promptly to faults and breakdowns, diagnosing issues to minimise disruption
- Coordinate and oversee specialist subcontractors, ensuring compliance with site and safety standards
- Maintain accurate records using computer-aided maintenance systems and compliance logs
- Support day-to-day technical operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable facility performance

Does This Sound Like You?
You’ll excel in this role if you have:
✔ A recognised trade qualification or demonstrable hands-on technical experience ✔ Strong knowledge of health and safety in maintenance or engineering environments ✔ Experience with building services systems and plant (leisure settings preferred) ✔ Good problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose faults effectively ✔ Confidence using digital maintenance systems ✔ A valid UK driving licence
Vetting and Checks
This role requires:
- A Basic DBS check (disclosing unspent convictions per the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974)
- Completion of an Occupational Health Questionnaire to support accessibility needs
