Production Technician (Twilight Shift)

Monday to Friday | Primary Shift: 3:00pm to 11:00pm | £27,000 + £4,000 Shift Allowance

Are you looking for a role that offers a regular weekday schedule with predominantly afternoon and evening hours?

We're seeking a Production Technician to join our cleanroom manufacturing team, supporting the preparation, production, and inspection of compounded medicines. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a highly regulated environment and is looking for a consistent twilight shift pattern.

Shift Pattern

This role operates Monday to Friday on a rotating weekly shift pattern.

The primary shift is 3:00pm to 11:00pm (Twilight Shift). However, candidates must be flexible to work:

  • 7:00am to 3:00pm
  • 10:00am to 6:00pm

These alternative shifts will be required during the initial training period and may occasionally be required thereafter to support business needs.

About the Role

You'll support all aspects of cleanroom production, including aseptic compounding, equipment utilisation, inventory control, environmental monitoring, and non-conformance management, ensuring compliance with Manufacturing License and Quality System requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately label products according to approved specifications.
  • Carry out routine equipment checks.
  • Prioritise production tasks to meet operational requirements.
  • Manufacture products in line with approved procedures.
  • Demonstrate and maintain validated aseptic technique.
  • Maintain productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
  • Manage inventory within isolators and production areas.
  • Meet production schedules and turnaround times.
  • Sanitise equipment and components in accordance with SOPs.
  • Complete routine equipment sampling, testing, and maintenance activities.
  • Select, prepare, and sanitise raw materials.
  • Identify and report any sanitisation deviations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all production areas.
  • Support environmental monitoring and compliance activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
  • Good computer literacy and confidence using digital systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
  • Previous experience in a GMP, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, healthcare, or other regulated environment is desirable.
