Technology Department Overview:

Capital Dynamics’ Technology department is responsible for the development, secure operation, maintenance and support of Capital Dynamics global IT infrastructure and solutions. The IT department enables the company’s employees to communicate, collaborate and automate routine tasks, and provides staff with the technology required to perform their duties, while ensuring information security, compliance with various regulations and company policies.

Role Purpose:

Capital Dynamics (‘CD’) is seeking to hire a highly capable graduate, to join our Technology department in the role of Technology Support Analyst in London. The Support Analyst is the primary technology support contact for the CD London office. The role is responsible for the stability and quality of the Microsoft 365 environment, end-user support across all business functions, and the operational management of core IT processes including provisioning, asset management, and break-fix resolution.

The role sits within the Technology function and reports to the CTO. It is designated as a development position, with a structured path into the firm's data and AI programme as core competencies are established.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Conducting first and second line troubleshooting on the windows-based infrastructure.
  • Microsoft 365 Administration – administer and maintain the firm's M365 environment including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and associated integrations. Own configuration, permissions management, and ongoing housekeeping across all services. Serve as the internal subject matter expert for M365 queries and issues.
  • End-User Support – deliver technology support to investment professionals, senior management, and operational staff across the London office. Maintain response and resolution standards consistent with a professional services environment. All support interactions are expected to meet a high service standard — proactive, accurate, and resolved without requiring follow-up.
  • User Lifecycle Management – own the end-to-end provisioning and deprovisioning process for all London-based staff. Manage access rights across M365 and connected systems in line with the firm's permissions framework. Maintain accurate records of user status and entitlements.
  • Break-Fix and Asset Management – triage, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues across Windows and Mac environments. Escalate to vendors or third-party support where required. Maintain the firm's technology asset inventory and manage device lifecycle.
  • SharePoint Administration – configure and maintain SharePoint sites, document libraries, and permissions structures. The firm operates active SharePoint infrastructure as part of its broader data programme; the Support Analyst is expected to contribute to its ongoing management and development.
  • Meeting Room and AV Technology – maintain meeting room technology, AV equipment, and video conferencing systems across the London office. Investment teams operate a high volume of internal and external calls; reliability of these systems is operationally critical.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Management – document resolutions, maintain configuration records, and develop runbooks for recurring processes. The Technology function operates with a small team; institutional knowledge must be captured systematically.
  • Flag security and risk concerns to the Technology Delivery Manager and Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Development pathway – AI & Data Programme

Capital Dynamics is executing a material transformation of its data infrastructure and AI capability. The programme spans three workstreams: DataCore, a medallion lake-house architecture on Google Cloud Platform; Lattice, an agentic automation layer; and Meridian, a decision intelligence capability in planning.

As core support responsibilities are established, the Support Analyst will gain structured exposure to this programme. This will include:

  • V7Labs - the agentic automation platform being deployed across investment and operational workflows, through which AI agents are built, scheduled, and governed.
  • Claude AI - the AI platform in active use across the firm for analysis, automation, and document generation.
  • Tamr – Machine learning enterprise master data management and entity resolution platform underpinning the firm's data warehouse, ensuring consistent entity identification across all data source within a structured hierarchy and graph database.
  • Google Cloud Platform / BigQuery — the infrastructure layer on which DataCore is built.
