As the global leader in commercial real estate and facilities management, CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) manages the workplaces of the world's most innovative organisations. We redefine how corporate environments run, leveraging smart systems, automation, and predictive data to drive efficiency and sustainability.

We are seeking a Technology Analyst to lead the discovery, hands-on development, and portfolio-wide rollout of AI, automation, and smart building solutions for a tier-one client portfolio across EMEA.

This role bridges the gap between digital innovation and on-the-ground facilities operations. You will walk plant rooms with building engineers to uncover operational bottlenecks, rapidly prototype solutions using low-code engines and AI tools, and scale proven pilots into standard operating systems across millions of square feet.

What You Will Deliver?

  • Scan for emerging proptech and smart building innovations, including AI/ML applications, spatial and occupancy analytics, energy optimisation algorithms, service robotics, and generative AI for FM operations.
  • Partner with engineering, workplace experience, EHS, and client IT teams to convert daily friction into prioritised tech initiatives.
  • Translate ideas into structured business charters and technical requirements.
  • Evaluate integration viability, data availability, and business ROI while steering solutions through InfoSec, privacy, and procurement governance.
  • Build functional MVPs and automated workflows using low-code tools (e.g., AppSheet, Power Apps) and modern APIs/AI frameworks (e.g., Vertex AI).
  • Lead end-to-end pilot execution on-site, serving as the central coordinator between engineering teams, IT, and regional leadership.
  • Convert successful pilots into regional deployment playbooks, complete with site readiness checklists and change management plans.
  • Monitor adoption, manage L1/L2 operational support, and feed continuous improvements back into the innovation pipeline.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Who You Are?

  • You enjoy building working tools, not just strategy decks.
  • You can connect APIs, build no-code operational tools, and leverage AI/automation platforms to replace manual workflows.
  • You can discuss data architecture and API endpoints with software teams, and immediately pivot to discussing HVAC maintenance, asset tagging, or space management with front-line engineers.
  • You combine curiosity with high ownership, comfortable operating with ambiguity, setting clear success metrics, and executing projects from initial concept through deployment.

Candidate Experience Required?

  • 2-5 years delivering technology implementations, low-code development, systems consulting, or operational innovation programs. Proven track record managing projects end to end.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Hands-on workflow automation and integration experience (Google Apps Script, REST APIs, webhooks).
    • Applied curiosity and understanding of AI/ML services and prototyping tools (e.g., Vertex AI, LLM APIs), including an objective awareness of their technical constraints.
    • Proficiency in low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Google AppSheet, Microsoft Power Apps).
    • Confident stakeholder communication, structured requirements writing, and comfort leading pilots autonomously.
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
