Job Description

At Legal & General, we're committed to building a secure, resilient and data-driven organisation. As a Technology Risk Analyst, you'll play an important role in supporting the identification, analysis and reporting of technology, information security and data risks across the Group.

Working alongside risk, technology and business teams, you'll help strengthen our technology risk and control framework, support assurance activities, and provide valuable insights through risk data analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in technology risk, information security, data governance or operational risk within a collaborative and evolving environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the maintenance and embedding of technology risk policies, standards and controls across the Group
  • Gathering, validating and analysing risk and control data to support reporting and identify trends, insights and data quality issues
  • Assisting with assurance reviews, deep dives and spotlight assessments by collecting evidence and documenting findings
  • Collaborating with technology, information security and business teams to support risk management activities and reporting
  • Supporting technology change assurance activities by tracking risks, actions and programme updates
  • Analysing technology-related risk events and control weaknesses to support lessons learned and continuous improvement
  • Preparing risk reports and management information for governance forums, committees and stakeholders
  • Promoting awareness of technology risk management practices and maintaining supporting guidance materials

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
