Our client is a major global financial services organisation with a significant presence in the UK payments market. The business provides critical payment infrastructure to organisations ranging from small businesses through to major international corporates. It is currently embarking on a significant multi-year transformation programme, investing heavily in technology, platform modernisation and the future of its payments business.
Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technology Audit Vice President to provide assurance over a major payments transformation programme. Based in London, the role will focus on technology change, platform modernisation, cloud adoption, engineering, data, cyber security and operational resilience.
You will provide independent challenge over transformation delivery, helping ensure technology risks are understood and effectively controlled throughout a strategically important period of change.

Day to Day Activities
- Lead and deliver technology audits across a major payments transformation programme
- Provide assurance over platform modernisation, cloud adoption and technology change
- Review application development, engineering and software delivery practices
- Assess technology, cyber, data and operational resilience risks and controls
- Challenge programme decisions, delivery risks and technology design assumptions
- Work closely with technology, data and transformation teams to understand architectural and system changes
- Communicate audit findings and practical recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Contribute to risk assessments and the wider Internal Audit plan

Experience Necessary
- Strong Technology Audit experience within banking or financial services, including major technology transformation or re-engineering programmes
- Experience within payments, merchant acquiring, card issuing or FinTech environments
- Good understanding of application development, software delivery, technology risk and controls
Qualifications & Skills Needed
- CISA qualification, with programme or project management certification advantageous
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge senior technology and transformation leaders
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to navigate complex technology and transformation risks
