Technology Delivery Lead Newcastle
A leading global technology and consulting organisation is looking for an experienced Technology Delivery Lead to join its growing delivery practice in Newcastle.
This is an opportunity to work on complex technology programmes for enterprise clients, leading multidisciplinary teams and driving successful delivery across large-scale digital transformation initiatives. You'll play a key role in managing delivery outcomes, improving engineering and delivery practices, and working closely with technical teams, clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
As a Technology Delivery Lead, you will:
- Lead the delivery of multiple complex technology projects across enterprise environments
- Manage delivery plans, risks, dependencies and stakeholder expectations
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes
- Translate complex technical information into clear business and operational insights
- Drive continuous improvement across software delivery processes and ways of working
- Establish delivery metrics and reporting to support informed decision-making
- Identify opportunities to improve delivery effectiveness and implement change
- Support Agile delivery practices and modern technology operating models
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams through effective communication and collaboration

We're looking for experience in the following:
- Proven experience managing complex technology delivery programmes or projects
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and best practices
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a technology environment
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes and communicate effectively at all levels
- Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles and modern engineering practices
- Experience working with DevOps operating models and delivery approaches
- Ability to interpret technical concepts and translate them into business-focused outcomes
- Experience using Agile delivery tools such as Jira
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage short, medium and long-term objectives
- Experience defining and using delivery metrics to improve performance
Desirable Experience
- Agile delivery certifications
- Experience working within Health or Public Sector environments
- Knowledge of GDS principles
- Experience delivering Agile at scale
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
- Experience working within large enterprise technology environments

Location & Security Clearance
This is a Newcastle-based hybrid role, requiring attendance at the client office three days per week. Due to the nature of the work, successful applicants will be required to complete BPSS and UK Security Clearance (SC) checks. Applicants must typically demonstrate 5 years of continuous UK address history, with no significant periods spent overseas (usually no periods of 30 consecutive days or more outside of the UK).
