Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You'll Bring

  • A strong track record of delivering complex technology programmes in retail and consumer goods experience is beneficial — either on client and/or consultancy sides.
  • Solid understanding of the retail / Consumer Goods technology landscape: POS, OMS, eCommerce platforms, ERP, loyalty, payments, supply chain and logistics systems.
  • Growing experience delivering AI or GenAI-enabled technology solutions, with an appreciation of the data foundations required to make them work in production.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary delivery teams of 10+ people.
  • Proven ability to manage programme budgets, governance frameworks, and delivery reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile and waterfall delivery approaches, and the judgement to apply the right one.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable presenting to senior client stakeholders and operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Beneficial Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field; project or programme management certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe) are advantageous.
  • Experience working in or alongside retail / Consumer Goods / FMCG operations, buying, merchandising, or supply chain functions — beyond purely technical roles.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and their role in modern retail architectures.
  • Exposure to the delivery of AI, GenAI, and agentic solutions, and the underlying data platforms that support them, within a retail environment.
