Technology Delivery Lead – Specialist
Location: Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, or London
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 + benefits
Security Clearance: BPSS + SC
The Opportunity
We’re working with a leading global technology and consulting organisation that is looking for a Technology Delivery Lead to join its growing Health & Public Service team.
This is an opportunity to work on complex technology transformation programmes for major public-sector clients, working across the full delivery lifecycle from design through to implementation.
You’ll sit at the intersection of technology, delivery and client engagement, working closely with product owners, project managers, business analysts, technical specialists, and development teams to ensure solutions are successfully delivered.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the delivery of complex technology solutions across the full delivery lifecycle.
- Working closely with clients and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Managing delivery activities across Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
- Working with Product Owners, Project Managers, BAs, SMEs, and developers to design and deliver solutions.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identifying and resolving delivery issues and communicating progress effectively.
- Supporting and, where appropriate, leading junior team members.
- Producing and maintaining delivery, design, and project documentation.
- Using data and analysis to support decision-making and inform system design.
- Working with modern technology environments, including Cloud and SaaS platforms.

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with experience working across technology delivery, project delivery, technical design, development, or a related area.
You’ll ideally have:
- 2–3+ years' experience working across the technology delivery lifecycle.
- Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
- Strong stakeholder and client-facing communication skills.
- Experience working with Cloud or SaaS technologies.
- An understanding of software architecture, integration, and secure system design.
- Experience with delivery/project tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or Excel.
- Some experience leading teams or supporting junior resources.
- The ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical or design documentation.

Advantageous experience:
- AWS, Azure, GCP, DevOps, Git, Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Experience within the public sector, health, defence, or another highly regulated environment.
