About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technology Delivery Manager to join our Business Change & IT Team at a pivotal point in our digital transformation journey.

As a Technology Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of a diverse portfolio of small change enhancements, improvements, and non-standard requests that support both operational efficiency and organisational objectives.

Acting as the link between business stakeholders, technology teams, and third-party suppliers, you will ensure that technology investments deliver genuine value for colleagues and residents.

This role sits within the Business Change function and is ideal for someone who enjoys turning ideas into outcomes, bringing structure to complexity, and ensuring that change is delivered in a controlled, collaborative, and customer-focused way.

What we are looking for

You may currently be working as a Technology Delivery Manager, IT Project Manager, Change Manager, Agile Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, or a similar delivery-focused role. We're looking for someone who thrives on turning ideas into outcomes and enjoys working at the heart of technology change delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The successful candidate will be an organised and proactive delivery professional, comfortable managing multiple priorities, building strong relationships across the business, and driving change from initial demand through to successful implementation. You will enjoy bringing structure to complexity, balancing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring quality solutions are delivered on time and to budget.

You do not need to be a technical expert to succeed in this role. We are looking for someone with experience of facilitating, coordinating, and implementing technology change, bringing together business stakeholders, suppliers, and technical teams to deliver successful outcomes. Your ability to lead delivery, manage competing priorities, and keep change moving forward is more important than hands-on technical knowledge.

You will also be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience leading the delivery of technology change in a fast-paced environment.
  • A track record of successfully delivering enhancements across a range of applications, including SaaS and on-premise solutions.
  • The ability to assess new technology demands, develop compelling proposals, and guide them through governance and approval processes.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, including sprint planning and delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence, challenge, and build consensus at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and engaging way.
  • Commercial awareness, including experience of working with and managing third-party suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Asana.
