Technology Delivery Manager

MacGregor Black are partnering with a high-growth consumer brand on the search for a Technology Delivery Manager. This is a permanent role based in Essex.

This is a hands-on role combining technology delivery, project management, supplier management and operational support. You will act as a central point of coordination between internal technology teams, third-party providers, operational teams and customers, ensuring technology solutions are implemented effectively and remain reliable once live.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the setup and deployment of technology solutions across multiple locations.
  • Manage technology rollouts and implementation projects.
  • Coordinate internal technology teams and third-party service providers.
  • Define technical requirements and ensure solutions are delivered against agreed standards.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines and delivery milestones.
  • Establish effective support and escalation processes.
  • Act as an escalation point for technical issues and third-party suppliers.
  • Provide initial technical triage and coordinate resolution of incidents.
  • Monitor incidents, trends and recurring technology issues.
  • Maintain accurate technical, operational and project documentation.
  • Ensure technology environments remain stable, secure and fit for purpose.
  • Identify opportunities to improve technology performance and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with business and operational stakeholders to understand requirements.
  • Support the continuous improvement of technology delivery and support processes.

What we're looking for?

  • Proven experience in technology delivery, infrastructure, IT operations or technology project management.
  • Experience implementing and supporting technology solutions across multiple locations or environments.
  • Strong project and delivery management skills.
  • Experience managing technology suppliers and third-party service providers.
  • Good understanding of incident, problem and service management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to define and manage technical requirements.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Understanding of connectivity, networking or infrastructure would be advantageous.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and drive issues through to resolution
