Technology Development Tester - Head Office Bradford

Hybrid Working

As a Technology Development Tester, you’ll play a key role in making sure the systems used across our dealerships are reliable, easy to use and ready for release. From testing new features to checking that our business applications work seamlessly together, your work will help our colleagues deliver a great customer experience.

Reporting to our Product & Development Manager, you’ll work closely with Software Engineers, DevOps and colleagues across the business, bringing a thorough approach and a fresh perspective to software quality.

Your Day Will Include

  • Creating and executing test plans, test cases and scripts for new features, enhancements, bug fixes and integrations.
  • Carrying out manual functional, regression, integration and exploratory testing across web applications, browsers, devices and environments.
  • Testing APIs and integrations with systems such as Keyloop (Kerridge), Dealerweb and manufacturer platforms, checking data accuracy and system behaviour.
  • Identifying, recording and tracking defects, working with developers to verify fixes.
  • Supporting user acceptance testing with dealership colleagues and business stakeholders, providing clear guidance and documentation.
  • Contributing to sprint planning, reviews and wider team discussions, identifying quality risks early.
  • Developing and maintaining automated tests where appropriate, working with DevOps to integrate them into build and release processes.
  • Preparing test summaries and release sign-off documentation, maintaining test data and helping improve our testing processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
