What you’ll be doing:
Working as part of agile technology teams, you'll contribute to the design, development, testing and deployment of innovative solutions across software engineering, data, cloud, cybersecurity and various technology domains. You'll apply modern engineering practices to solve real business challenges, leverage AI-powered tools to enhance productivity and contribute to the delivery of secure, scalable and customer-focused technology solutions. As your experience grows, you'll collaborate with stakeholders, influence technical decisions and help shape the future of technology at Fidelity.

How you’ll be supported:
Our Graduate Programme is designed to provide a strong foundation for a successful career in technology through a combination of structured learning, hands-on experience and continuous support. From day one, you'll participate in a comprehensive induction and technology bootcamp that helps you build core capabilities across software engineering, data, cloud, cybersecurity and modern delivery practices, while also developing the professional skills needed to thrive in a collaborative environment. A key focus of the programme is building AI Fluency, equipping graduates with the ability to responsibly leverage AI-powered tools to enhance productivity, accelerate software development, improve analysis and solve real business challenges. As you progress, you'll apply these skills in agile delivery teams, working on live projects that create tangible business value while gaining exposure to a variety of technology disciplines.
Beyond technical development, you'll benefit from ongoing training, leadership interactions, networking opportunities and workshops focused on communication, adaptability and personal effectiveness. Support is embedded throughout the experience, with dedicated managers, mentors and buddies helping you navigate your career journey, while a vibrant early careers community provides opportunities to build lasting professional networks. By the end of the programme, you'll have developed both the technical expertise and AI-enabled ways of working needed to succeed in an increasingly technology-driven world, with access to continued learning and career opportunities across Fidelity.
What we look for:
We are looking for graduates to help accelerate FIL’s enterprise data journey, combining data, technology and AI to solve real enterprise problems. The focus is on strengthening our data foundations while finding smarter, more automated ways of working – using AI to accelerate the data journey, not just preparing data for AI.

Graduate focus areas – Enterprise Data Foundations:
- AI to accelerate the data journey – identify and prototype where AI and automation can materially reduce the effort and time required to establish our data foundations, including metadata discovery, classification, lineage, quality, ownership and documentation. Use AI to accelerate the data journey, not just prepare data for AI.
- Trusted data foundations – help strengthen the fundamentals across priority enterprise data: ownership and accountability, taxonomy and glossary, metadata, lineage and data quality. Focus on establishing these consistently and finding smarter ways to evidence and maintain them.
- Enterprise data products & reuse – support priority data products and help mature how data is made discoverable, trusted, reusable and consumable across organisational boundaries rather than repeatedly recreated within individual teams.
- Information & unstructured data – support our growing information-management agenda, including understanding, classifying and governing unstructured information and exploring how AI can accelerate discovery, classification, retention and remediation.
- Strategy, insight & measurement – bring external thinking into the evolution of the Enterprise Data Strategy, particularly how AI is changing data management, while establishing measures that show whether FIL's data
