Group Technology Manager

London, UK | International remit & travel
Permanent | Senior Technology Leadership

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Technology Manager to take ownership of the technology strategy and infrastructure for a newly established international business operating across the UK, Europe, and North America.

The business is currently undergoing a significant carve-out and technology transformation, creating a standalone global IT environment designed to support its next stage of growth. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will lead a geographically distributed IT function and take responsibility for shaping the group's technology roadmap, standardising systems internationally, and ensuring technology investment supports commercial growth, operational efficiency, and scalability.

This is not simply a "keep the lights on" IT position. We're looking for a commercially minded technology leader who can operate strategically while remaining close enough to delivery to support implementation when required.

The role

You will:

  • Define and own the group-wide IT strategy and technology roadmap
  • Help establish a new standalone IT infrastructure following a business carve-out
  • Partner with external consultants throughout the transformation and implementation programme
  • Oversee core business systems including ERP, CRM, rental/asset management, and data/reporting platforms
  • Lead the group's cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategy
  • Drive standardisation of systems, technology, and vendors across multiple countries
  • Manage and develop local IT Managers and Specialists across the UK, US, Canada, and Europe
  • Improve the use of data, reporting, and business intelligence across the organisation
  • Identify opportunities for automation and technology-led operational improvement
  • Manage technology suppliers, software providers, and managed service partners
  • Support future international expansion, new site openings, and potential M&A integration
  • Manage group IT budgets and ensure a strong commercial return from technology investment

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
