Technology Implementation Manager – Tax Technology
Base Location: London / Glasgow (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office)
The KPMG Tax Technology & Innovation are a team of 300+ technologists providing technology enablement services and solutions across the Tax and Law business. This business has 2500+ tax & legal professionals covering multiple disciplines. We serve many thousands of clients and private individuals by providing a modern, market-leading suite of technology solutions that provide an efficient digital experience from routine to complex tax advice.

Tax is highlighted frequently as an industry where generative AI will have a significant impact on how services are provided. You will be working as a team at the forefront of navigating that change and redefining the way in which tax is determined in the UK and globally, making sure people and companies pay the right amount of tax with the minimum amount of effort.
What will you be doing?
The Technology Implementation Manager will support the adoption and implementation of KPMG’s compliance technology platform across both the UK and EMA firms. You will manage innovation through automation, analytics, and data driven solutions, enabling multinational clients to achieve global tax and accounting compliance with greater efficiency, accuracy, and control.
As a Technology Implementation Manager, you will work on Global Compliance & Transformation projects, with responsibilities including:
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to translate their vision into actionable deliverables and articulate client and business requirements to technical teams.
- Supporting sales efforts, including proposal development, client presentations, and technology demonstrations to help win new engagements and expand client relationships.
- Consulting with clients and assisting their project managers in delivering successful outcomes.
- Managing the end-to-end delivery of KPMG and third-party technology solutions for clients, ensuring alignment with complex user requirements, and translating them into effective solutions.
- Leading multiple technology projects, including delivery plans, tracking key milestones, activities, and risks to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and quality project completion.
- Ensuring delivery excellence and agility in our approach to technology implementation, enabling the business to respond swiftly to market demands and bring services to market efficiently and securely.
- Managing project teams, including offshore resources across TT&I, to build and implement KPMG and third-party technology solutions.

What will you need to do it?
- A strong interest or background in tax and reporting technology is essential.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing abilities, with a talent for building and maintaining relationships across all business levels and with a diverse range of stakeholders at various levels.
- Proven experience in technology solution implementation, delivering projects using agile methodologies.
- A good understanding of Tax and Accounting processes (preferable experience in tax or finance compliance).
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, concepts, and modern work practices to help solve client challenges.
- Experience in environments focused on technology change implementation.
- Experience in performance management and people development.
Skills we’d love to see/Amazing Extras:
- Those candidates with Accounting or tax qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, or CTA or equivalent would have an advantage in securing one of these roles.
- Experience in business development and the end-to-end sales of Technology Solutions.
