Technology Innovation Manager

£80,000-£90,000 + discretionary bonus

London | Hybrid

Do you love exploring new technology, testing new ideas and figuring out how they can actually make a difference to a business?

This could be right up your street.

I'm looking for a Technology Innovation Manager to help bring new technology solutions to life across a large UK & Ireland operation.

And this definitely isn't about innovation for innovation's sake.

It's about finding technology that solves genuine business problems and then making it happen.

You'll work closely with teams across Technology, Product, Innovation and the wider business, helping take existing enterprise solutions and get them successfully adopted across the UK & Ireland.

You'll also be looking for gaps.

Where could technology make things better? Where is there a problem without an existing solution? Could a new piece of technology help?

You'll help turn those questions into pilots and proof of concepts, working with central technology and innovation teams to test ideas, measure the results and understand whether they could work on a bigger scale.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

I'm looking for somebody who:

  • Has experience delivering and scaling technology solutions
  • Has worked in innovation, technology enablement, product operations, consulting or a similar environment
  • Has experience with pilots, POCs or introducing new technology
  • Is seriously good with stakeholders
  • Can work comfortably between technical and non-technical teams
  • Is happy taking ownership and getting stuck into the delivery
  • Can juggle multiple initiatives without losing sight of the bigger picture

Ultimately, I'm looking for someone who is curious, commercially minded and genuinely excited by what technology can do.

You don't need to be a Developer. You need to understand technology, understand people and be able to connect the two.
