What does our programme look like?

Our internship programme runs for 12 months, and we are looking for candidates who can commit for the full year.

Throughout your time with us you will:

  • Work on meaningful technology projects guided through interactions with stakeholders.
  • Innovate. Explore new technologies and approaches, including how AI can revolutionise our workflows, and raise the bar for how we build.
  • Receive one-on-one mentorship to perform your key responsibilities and support your experience.
  • Be exposed to industry standard practices and tooling.
  • Work on solutions written in.NET, SQL, Python, AWS, Kubernetes, Angular, React, R and more (*project dependent).
  • Gain exposure to the world of investment management.

Your qualifications & experience

We care more about how you think than what you’ve done. We are looking for self-starters who are excited to learn new skills and can adapt to a rapidly evolving technology landscape. Alongside core technical skills, we value curiosity, innovative thinking, and an active interest in AI and new technologies.

The following are desirable but not essential:

  • Experience with a compiled or interpreted language (such as C#, Java, Python).
  • An understanding of databases (CRUD SQL operations).
  • An understanding of basic data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience using versioning control (Git).

Typical attributes of people who excel in this programme include:

  • Penultimate or final year students who are enrolled on a BSc or MSc (in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields) and on track for a 2:1 or above.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of curiosity, adaptability and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive engagement and self-management
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Those with leadership potential and the ability to inspire and influence others.

For this role, no previous knowledge of finance is required. We understand at this point in your career you might not have a lot of experience. We are therefore predominantly looking for potential in applicants that apply.
