Technology Lawyer – Global Opportunities

We are currently seeking Technology Lawyers to work with a variety of Axiom's clients across a diverse selection of industries.


About the Role

technical and contractually astute legal professionals to provide critical legal support for some of the world’s most innovative technology-driven companies.


Responsibilities

  • Support drafting, negotiation, and review of technology-related contracts, including:
    • Software licensing agreements
    • Technology development agreements
    • SaaS agreements
  • Provide legal counsel and guidance on:
    • Intellectual property matters
    • Data privacy (e.g., GDPR compliance)
    • Regulatory compliance in product development and app development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, developers, business stakeholders) to:
    • Ensure legal compliance in transactions and product launches
    • Mitigate risk in technology-related agreements and innovations
  • Remain abreast of emerging AI regulations and ethical considerations, offering strategic advice on:
    • Legal implications of AI integration
    • Compliance and risk management for AI-driven solutions

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 2 years post-qualification experience supporting technology transactions, either:
    • In a law firm
    • In an in-house corporation
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Intellectual property laws
    • Data protection regulations, including:
      • GDPR
      • EU AI Act
      • EU Digital Services Act
    • Relevant tech-related regulations
  • Preference for those with experience working in:
    • Technology companies
    • In-house legal departments (especially software/SaaS industry)
  • Solid grasp of:
    • Tech/SaaS business models
    • Product development lifecycle
    • Industry best practices
