Associate Director | Technology M&A
📍 London | Hybrid Working | Deal Advisory Boutique
We're supporting a specialist deal advisory firm as they continue to expand their Technology M&A capability.
This is a senior delivery role for someone who has real Technology M&A experience and wants to lead workstreams directly rather than sit several layers removed from clients and decision-making. The organisation advises corporates, investors, and portfolio companies across complex transactions, with a focus on due diligence, integrations, separations, carve-outs, and value creation. Technology plays a central role in helping clients understand cost, risk, complexity, and value throughout the deal lifecycle.
The Opportunity
You'll lead Technology M&A workstreams across live transactions, working directly with CIOs, CFOs, and senior stakeholders. This is not a PMO or coordination role. You'll be expected to build analysis, challenge assumptions, form recommendations, and own client conversations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
