About Intelance
Intelance is an enterprise architecture and technology advisory firm. We support organisations through acquisitions, divestments and separations. We are building our associate panel of experienced enterprise architects who can lead the technology architecture for future transaction work. This panel role does not guarantee an immediate assignment. Each engagement will be agreed separately through a statement of work.
Tasks
- Assess the technology estate across the target business and the acquiring or separating organisation.
- Map applications, data, infrastructure, integration, identity and security.
- Identify technology risks, dependencies, constraints and decisions early.
- Define practical current and target architectures for integration or separation.
- Shape application rationalisation, migration, data transfer and transition plans.
- Support day one readiness, transitional service exit and the longer technology roadmap.
- Guide decisions across business applications, data, cloud, infrastructure, workplace technology and cyber security.
- Work closely with the integration lead, delivery lead and client technology leaders.
- Produce clear architecture outputs, decision papers, roadmaps and delivery estimates.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
