About this role
Just Eat Takeaway is looking for a Technology Manager to lead and grow the Partner Assistance team within the Acquisition, Onboarding and Service domain.
The Partner Assistance team is dedicated to supporting our partners to help them succeed and grow, handling significant volumes of partner contacts globally. We are building and deploying AI-driven platforms designed to automate high-volume contact reasons, improve self-service capabilities, and reduce manual handling times.
This role will oversee the end-to-end technical delivery of major partner-facing AI initiatives, including our Partner AI Voice Agent (AIVA) and internal Partner Chatbot migration. You'll coordinate complex integrations across internal and third-party systems, leading engineering squads to drive feature parity and enhanced capabilities.
We're looking for someone who can live our behaviours of lead, deliver, and care, bringing technical excellence, strong collaboration, and a high-performance engineering culture to help our partner community thrive.
These are some of the key components to the position:
- End-to-End Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end technical delivery of high-impact AI initiatives, including the Partner AI Voice Agent and Partner Assistant Chatbot.
- Strategic Migration: Lead the strategic migration of the Partner Chatbot from Ultimate to an internal solution across key global markets.
- System Integration: Coordinate complex API integrations across various internal, third-party, CRM, and telephony systems.
- Step into their shoes: Act as the primary technical liaison between stakeholder teams and engineering/QA squads, fostering cross-functional collaboration.
- Product Definition: Contribute to defining product features in collaborative workshops with Product Managers and engineering teams.
- Raise the bar: Define and communicate a clear technical roadmap for the domain alongside the Senior Technology Manager and engineering peers.
- Help one another succeed: Set goals, coach engineers, and foster a high-performance culture to guide team members in their career aspirations.
- Be determined: Own work streams spanning the domain—from requirements gathering to system design and production support—driving excellence throughout.
- Continuous Improvement: Enhance domain effectiveness by continuously proposing and implementing new technical processes, designs, and engineering best practices.
- Move fast & operate: Take responsibility for transparently tracking progress, setting domain priorities, and deploying robust changes to production.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
