Technology Partner Manager

Permanent

Location: Witham or Peterborough (We believe in the power of in-person collaboration, and our hybrid model requires colleagues to be in the office a minimum of 40% of their time)
Salary: A competitive salary from £52,720- £65,900 depending on the experience you can bring

We are currently recruiting for an Technology Partner Manager to join our Technology Partner Management Team, who will optimise value through strategic roadmap, innovation and other value creation initiatives, using excellent stakeholder management skills and awareness of the supplier marketplace, identifying areas for collaboration and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage strategic relationships with IT suppliers to maximise value, performance, and service outcomes.
  • Monitor supplier performance against agreed contractual obligations, KPIs, and service metrics, driving continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Develop and maintain supplier management plans, using market insight to identify opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and growth.
  • Oversee supplier-related budgets and spend, ensuring effective forecasting, cost optimisation, and alignment to business requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and resolving conflicts to achieve positive business outcomes.
  • Lead supplier governance activities, including performance reviews, governance forums, reporting, due diligence, and oversight activities.
  • Partner with Procurement to support contract renewals, supplier evaluations, tender activities, and commercial negotiations.
  • Ensure IT supplier agreements remain aligned to organisational objectives while effectively managing commercial, operational, and regulatory risk.
  • Support the onboarding, enhancement, and retirement of services in partnership with Change Management and IT Delivery teams.
  • Manage contractual changes and supplier disputes, recommending balanced solutions that meet business, operational, and commercial objectives.
  • Develop contingency plans and proactively identify emerging risks to strengthen operational resilience.
  • Support regulatory reviews, audit activity, and compliance requirements, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements, including FCA, PRA, TPR, and EBA expectations.

Requirements

  • Experience managing strategic supplier relationships within Financial Services or other regulated environments.
  • Strong commercial and financial management skills, including supplier performance, contract management and budgeting.
  • Proven ability to build and influence relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience leading supplier governance, performance reviews and service discussions.
  • Knowledge of supplier lifecycle management, including due diligence, contract renewals and service transitions.
